Biography
Aygün Namazova is a psychologist and psychopedagogue and the Deputy Director of the LOQOS Psychological and Speech Development Center. She is responsible for the centre’s strategic development, team management and quality standards, and coordinates specialists’ professional growth and service quality across all branches.
Her first degree, in Methodology and Pedagogy, is from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (2000–2005); her second, in Psychology, from Baku Slavic University. She has worked as a psychopedagogue with children with speech delay and special educational needs since 2011, and at LOQOS since 2013.
In 2019, as LOQOS’s head psychopedagogue, she discussed psychopedagogical work on Xəzər TV. In 2021 she appeared as an expert on autism on the Xəzər TV programme “Cangüdən”. She records short videos for parents on LOQOS TV.

In 13 years at LOQOS she has risen through five roles: psychopedagogue, head psychopedagogue, head of quality control & audit, Deputy Director.

Responsible for service standards and specialists’ professional development in every LOQOS branch: Baku, Sumgait, Khirdalan, Ganja, Lankaran, Barda, Guba.

With the LOQOS team she took part in translating and adapting ABA, PECS, Son-Rise and TEACCH for the centre (as she explained on Xəzər TV, 2019).

How I work
Assessment, not guesswork
Which specialist a child needs is decided after a developmental assessment, not by the parents’ wishes or fears.
A team around the child
Psychologist, teacher, speech therapist, sensory integration and therapeutic exercise specialists work in parallel on one programme.
Parents as the key allies
We have a child for a few hours at the centre. A parent is there for a lifetime, so they need to understand what is happening and what to do at home.
